Meredith’s Jack Griffin to Lead American
Advertising Federation - June 24, 2004
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) named two industry
executives to head the 50,000-members organization, effective July 1, 2004.
Jack Griffin president of Meredith Publishing Group will serve as AAF chairman
and Andy Jung, senior director of advertising and media services at Kellogg
Company will serves as AAF vice chairman.

District Two Partner to Further Multicultural Marketing and a More Inclusive Ad
Industy
The American Advertising Federation (AAF) national office and AAF District Two
are teaming up to promote a more inclusive and diverse advertising industry.
Seizing the platform provided by Advertising Week New York, the program will
consist of morning panel discussions to showcase the successful strategies of
advertisers and their general and ethnic agencies in building multicultural
marketing strategic plans.

University First Place in 2004 AAF National Student Advertising Competition -
June 15, 2004
Exceptional future advertisers from Southern Methodist University won
the American Advertising Federation (AAF) 2004 National Student Advertising
Competition (NSAC) for an ad campaign created for VISIT FLORIDA, the state of
Florida’s official source for tourism planning. Their multimedia “This is
Florida” campaign targeted relationship travelers who utilize travel to
strengthen togetherness.
