We do some pretty cool stuff here at AAF Seattle, and we want to do more, so we need the right people. Whether you've been a member for years or you're just discovering us, check out the open positions below and throw your hat in the ring.


COMMUNICATIONS

Graphic Designer

Creates content for the club website, social media, emails, events, communications, and other activities as needed.

Time Commitment: varies - 8 hours/month; bi-monthly committee meetings (1.5 hours)


COMMUNICATIONS

Social Media Manager

Creates content, updates, and monitors the club's social media channels, sets up and manages paid campaigns on social media, and other activities as needed.

Time Commitment: varies - 8 hours/month; bi-monthly committee meetings (1.5 hours)


EVENTS

Event producer

Works with our Events Director to produce various club events. Duties can range from selecting venues, vendors, speakers; collecting speaker/moderator bios, photos, writing the description for an event, communication with event participants; monitors event registrations, set up digital event ticket sales and other event details.

Time Commitment: 10 hours/month; bi-monthly committee meetings (1.5 hours)


Programs

Art Bash Producer

Coordinates canvas drop off and pickup. Plans out space for art. Makes signs for artwork. Coordinates photography of artwork and passes to Visual Designer.

Time Commitment: 6 hours leading up to event; 2 hours event setup. Quarterly committee meetings (1.5 hours)

Chalk Talk Producer

Selects panel and moderator; coordinates with Programs Director on collecting panel/moderator bios, photos, description for event, and communication with panel/moderator; Selects commercials and overview of graphics for Visual Designer.

Time Commitment: Dec/Jan: up to 10 hours/month; February 9th event; quarterly committee meetings (1.5 hours)

Kickoff Party Producer

Selects venue and works closely with Programs Director to produce party.

Time Commitment: quarterly committee meetings (1.5 hours)

Visual Designer

Creates visual slides for each event; hands off visuals to A/V Tech one week before event.

Time Commitment: 1-2 hour per month; 5-10 hours for Chalk Talk event (early Feb), quarterly committee meetings (1.5 hours)

A/V Tech

Receives graphics from Visual Designer; brings a laptop with HDMI cords at least 30 minutes before event; troubleshoots audio and visuals; runs the powerpoint during event.

Time Commitment: Setup + duration of events only (3-4 hours per event), quarterly committee meetings (1.5 hours)

Beverage Manager

Decides on specialty cocktail, selects beer and wine within budget; coordinates alcohol pickup and/or delivery; confirms details with bartending staff.

Time Commitment: up to 3 hours/month + setup of events as needed; quarterly committee meetings (1.5 hours)

Hors D’oeuvre Specialist

Creates menu within budget; coordinates food delivery and setup for event.

Time Commitment: up to 3 hours/month + setup of events as needed; quarterly committee meetings (1.5 hours)


Insights

Data Analyst

Works with insights director to analyze and gather insights from user/membership data and identify opportunities and optimization strategies.

Time Commitment: up to 3 hours/month; bi-monthly committee meetings (1.5 hours)
