PPI Paper Luau Coming to Seattle Break out your best Aloha shirt, shorts and flip flops -- plan on attending the 2006 Paper Luaus presented by the Pacific Printing & Imaging Association (PPI). On January 24 the Paper Luau will be held at the beautiful Odyssey Maritime Museum right on the waterfront in downtown Seattle. You'll be able to get up-to-date information by attending one of the 10 seminars to be offered throughout the day. Some of the topics to be presented are How to Evaluate New Printers, Effective Communications Between Print Buyers and Printers, Preparing Files for Print, Sustainability of Paper, Color Trends, Effective Press Checks, Creating Successful PDFs, and Acrobat 7 Update. Then attendees & others will be able to pick up the latest paper samples from the many paper mills and paper merchants displaying their wares from 4 - 8 pm, as well as connect with print buyers, other print professionals and more in our industry.
