Committees
Our members are an impressive group of advertising
professionals who make a difference in our community and our industry. You can
join them in their efforts, by considering how your talent, creativity and
passion can contribute to one of the many committees ACS sponsors. We have some

Membership
Solicits and retains members, keeps accurate membership records and reports
changes to AAF. Develops and executes committee recruitment programs and
nurtures relationships that promote ACS.
Programs
Coordinates speakers and activities for the Club’s monthly meetings. Includes
meeting notices, locations, reservations, ticketing and attendance records.
Communications & PR
Issues ACS press releases, develop corporate identity and promotes the Seattle
ad community to local, regional and national media. Also develops and provides
content for the ACS web site and newsletter.
Education
Educates the public on the role and benefits of advertising in our society.
Advances the ad professional’s knowledge and coordinates activities with
students at local colleges and universities.
Diversity
Increases minority representation in the local ad community through
scholarships and recruitment programs for clubs and local businesses.
Fundraising & Special Events
Plans and executes yearly fundraising and special events programs. Develops new
opportunities to raise funds for the Club.
Government Relations
Monitors local, state and national legislative activity pertaining to
advertising issues. Spearheads proactive and defensive actions to protect the
industry’s best interests.
Public Service & Community Relations
Promotes and serves local and national organizations, developing ad campaigns
and soliciting media to run PSAs endorsed or created by AAF and ACS.
Club Achievement
Coordinates and prepares materials entering the AAF Club Achievement
competition. This competition helps our committees gain national recognition
for their achievements in such areas as membership, communication, management
public service, equal opportunities, programming, education and government
relations.
